There are still some things that London does better than anywhere else in the world. Most of these involve men dressing up in traditional red costumes and walking around in front of state buildings.

Lurking somewhere in the background is a shadowy 78-year old businesswoman, the unofficial head of an illicit multi-million pound tourist industry. Here we lift the lid on various members of The Family.

The Boss: Elizabeth R the Second.
Has run Family business for the past 50 years, and celebrated by counting her gold a few years ago. Decides who gets knighted and who gets to pay tribute. Often tours the world dealing with Commonwealth Families.

The Godmother: Elizabeth Queen Mama.
The matriarch of the Family, she ruled with a hip of iron. Appeared out of the shadows occasionally, usually to bet on the horses. Others were planning her elaborate funeral, so was recently liquidated.

The Mobster: Phil Prince.
Of Central European stock, and has taken a vow of silence after opening his mouth once too often.

The Underboss: Eddie Soprano.
Wiseguy who takes out contracts on other members of the Family, particularly little nephew Willie.

The Mistress: Camilla Porchetta.
An associate, not yet a full member of the Family, but has been sucking up to the eldest son for years.
